In a weak moment I sold my no - # 60 to a friend. Replaced it with an even lighter 642 https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/model-642 I did OK though paid $50 for the gun from a retired sheriff, added a laser for $170 and sold it for $500. Bought the 642 for $400 so I justified the extra gun to the wife for only $120.

I bought a pair of new Model 60's when they were 1st introduced (I used to be known as "Two-Gun Pete" ;) ).

They both would skip a chamber when triggered/fired fast; so I sent them down the road and got myself 3" Model 37 (no dash) Airweight's instead, which didn't exhibit the same behavior.

I ended up gifting each of the M-37's to my 2 daughters, when they moved out of my house to live in their own homes.

I have a nice leather vest. One of the inside pockets easily carries the S&W 642 so it just makes it easier to carry a second gun where (in general) people wouldn't expect it to be. I prefer the LCR, and as close as they are to size the 642 fits better. I think it's the size of the grip.
