I like the 6" barrel, and a fluted cylinder ILO the roll engraved version.

Thank you for Sharing about the Offering from Lipsey's
and Picture.

Congratulations. What a Unique Bearcat. I really like
the Finish, Fluted Cylinder, and 6" Barrel.

The Ruger Bearcat is the only Neatest Small Frame
Single Action 22Lr out there. I have always liked them.

Back in the late '70's I bought a lightly used Bearcat, with
Box and all paperwork. Shot it once, cleaned it, put it in
the closet, and ended up trading it for something S&W.
I still Kick my Self for trading it off.

I may have to Buy One of those.

Please give a Range Report when you it.

That is a 4" barrel.

Sorry folks, I haven't bought one, just posting about it.

It's not a 4" bbl.....

↑ Then you should put a pic of a 6" gun and not a 4.2. Straight from Lipsey's website. Here's RUSBC6

I love that high polish Bearcat! I need one of those. Looks like they were released in 17, so probably unobtainable by now.

Agreed... difference in ejector rod housing length on the two guns is a dead giveaway.

I hate to stir this hot pot anymore, but if you read further down the Lipsey's page to the "Configurations", you'll see they(Lipsey's) offered the HIGH POLISH BLUE IN A 4 INCH BARREL whereas Ruger offered it in a 4.2 inch barrel.

I have NO idea what the gun pictured is, a Ruger-Ruger or a Lipsey's-Ruger, but it sure looks high polish blue whichever one it is.
