We are blessed with some great Pronghorn Antelope in the Texas Panhandle. This one appeared by surprise and what a goofy one it was. Those horns are 18"long. I shot it with a Ruger 77 .257 RobertsST.

That is plumb wild. Saw a really tall horned one once in 1993 when at school in WY. A guy I was going to school with had an a muley tag and we went up by his place north of Wheatland. We were pulling out of some public hunting one day, and just across the drive, on the side that was a park/ reserve, not 100 feet from the pickup was an antelope buck laying down like a cow watching us drive by. He was between 18" and 19" on the right side and the left side curved straight down over his eye then curled around and back up similar to the end of a cane on the end, and was longer overall than the right side. Wish I'd had at least a good cel phone camera back then. What we were wishing at the time was he'd of been on the other side of the road and we actually had a tag.
