The Col. Birds that is.
Awhile back there was a post on the Forum showing how not to give the Oath during a promotion. Well this is the way it should be done.
My Daughter was promoted to Col. and wanted her Brother to administer the Oath. He also gave her the first Oath into the Navy after her Graduation from the USAFA. Yea she cross commissioned into the Navy since she couldn't fly in the AF but could in the Navy. Now she is in the MT Air Guard. Another long story :wink:
So he flew from Corpus along with us from Houston to DC to attend the ceremony at Andrews AFB where Daughter works.
