Hoss is happiest when he gets to ride down to the Carry Out and get pampered by the girls. He is always rewarded with Slim Jims.

I too gulped a bit when I saw the title,, followed by the author. I miss him as well. His cartoon strip was a daily fun thing to see.
Hoss,, gotta love a dog like that.

I still have a picture of Hoss amongst the pictures of my own dogs. I often wonder what became of him. I get out my copy of "Heart Shot" and reread it occasionally. Ed was one of a kind. I hope there's a front porch and a cooler wherever he is.

Its great to see that Hoss is alive and well ! I have really missed seeing pictures of Hoss. He seems to be a dig I will always remember.
Thanks for the pictures of him.

Thanks

Mike

I recall some of his stories. Remember the bag of popcorn trick he would play as a kid. Lay a bag of popcorn on the sidewalk with a brick in it then fill the rest with popcorn. Unsuspecting older teenager kid would come along and kick-it. Wasn't there that funny picture of Hoss with one of Ed's shoes in his mouth?

It's nice to remember him.
