One of my favorite pass times is photographing old buildings out in the country, there's a story behind everyone of them if I just knew what it was. Many dreams & many heart breaks took place at these old places.

Most of these settlers were real craftsmen, the fit on these logs, even after many, many years is outstanding.

Dick, wondering what the barb wire was for?
I like the barn.

Eric, I don't have a clue unless it was maybe to keep the cows from rubbing their butts on the corners, they like to do that....so does Callshot!
Here's a photo of him getting ready to go to the movies! Yes, those are rubber boots.

Dick, Do you know where you go for telling lies? When I get around you I need deep boots to protect me from all the crap that is spread around. Also, notice the work gloves. One of us has to work at least part of the time. Jeff, just because I have lived a sheltered life, doesn't mean that I was born in a barn. You guys better start being nice because I only have one nerve and you both are on it. Steve

Great pics, and as noted, the craftsmanship is superb. Realize too that they did it with hand tools! Look at the logs again & see if you could do that!

I thought Steve was wearing his new saturday go to town & see the girls outfit!

Guys, he ain't kidding, he's got a date with a 24 year old hottie on Saturday, I'll have to put up with his stories all day sunday on the way to New Mexico, why me!
I seen him at the pharmacy window, I have no idea what kind of pills he was buying.......... he's a sly old rooster.
