Decided to put some Silver Maple on my old model 44 flat top. I've had some different Maple on it for a long time but never liked the color so since I had all this Silver Maple & had never tried it I made up a set & really like it. Now I'm head to the range to see how she drives. It was raining so I had to take the photo indoors.

I made for my Maxi a set of Silver Maple grips that are also spectacular. Well done...

Hi,

First time I saw maple used on a gun was about 50 years ago as a beginning trap shooter. One of the "old timers" had a beautiful Winchester Model 12 trap gun stocked with wood that looked like it came from the same tree as Sixshot's grips. It would have made a beautiful companion for Dick's Ruger.

I see folks use light grips on stainless guns these days, but there's nothing like a blonde in a little black dress!
