At 25 yards, the mostly Ruger above makes one hole off a rest. When it's reconverted, it makes 3" groups 2 handed in my now Parkinson's shaking hands. Still fun either way.Image

Now here's a "stocker" done nice and legal! The stock is attached to the receiver with the long barrel on it. Never any doubt as to legality.

Cool looking, too. When I was a kid I had a "007 James Bond" toy Luger that looked a little like that, scope and all. It shot little red plastic bullets.

I can see what you mean Snake. I followed the other thread, I didn't particularly like the nut and bolt off of the back on it. This shoulder stock looks sturdier and more pleasant to shoot.

I do however think a Browning Buckmark Rifle would be better though.

I did the work, such as it was ;-) The hardest thing was taking apart the Mark I. Everything else just slid together. It is an Ares kit, about half the price of a Browning, and maybe, given the rail, a little more versatile. The serial is on the pistol receiver and rifle receiver, not on the "lower", so it is legal to switch back and forth. With a half dozen magazines it is very easy to burn a box of 525. No FTF/FTE with Remington or Federal. No luck with sub-sonic except one at a time. I'd welcome a solution for that. The grips were made 45 years ago from an apple crate slat.

Well, very nice job. It's always good to see DIY on the forum. Enjoy.

Does any one else see the irony in Lee's last post right above this one?

I've always liked re-bar. I like that project.
