I recently got a couple new Rugers. Both full size target 1911's. A 10mm and a 45. They both shoot great and are some of the funest guns I have shot. The 10 was a little easier to work up a load for. The 45 is a bit easier to shoot with the lighter recoil.
I'm pretty happy with them so far!!

Have a 2012 SR1911 and got a SR1911-10 last fall. Nice pistols. The 2012 SR1911 impressed me so much that I was thinking of having adjustable sights put on it but then Ruger came out with the model that had them.

The recent Ruger SR1911 9mm target pistol sort of amazes me as they are using the bushing less bull barrel and FLGR of the 10mm. That should have very little felt recoil with a 9mm (9x19) round.
