I have and love a P35, but mine's semi-permanently converted to a .22 (it's ONLY been a .22 since the unit became available a decade or more ago). Great guns!DGW1949 said:Snake45 said:I've never quite bought into the 9mm 1911 concept. I hear ya Snake...hence my affinity for the High Power. It may not be "notably smaller" than my 1911A-1, but it IS slimmer/trimmer, better balanced, uses the same (familiar) controls...and in my view, is more appropriately-sized for the 9MM cartridge.
Plus...the fact that both of mine shoot like a laser doesn't hurt anything either. No special "target model", special barrels, or adjustable sights needed...mostly just 'point and press'.   .

Doublestack? If so, it's not a real 1911. And it's too big for my hand. Don't have to hold it to know, because a real 1911 is right at my outer limit. :wink:SR1911SHOOTER said:Snake45 said:I've never quite bought into the 9mm 1911 concept. Well, actually, it's not.Laserbait said:That's like saying an AR15 in any other chamber than a 5.56x45 is not right.
Or a revolver in anything but 38 Special is not right.
