Optic cut?

Is the slide of the SR 1911 10mm cut to mount an optic or do all Ruger target sights require that much real estate at the rear of the slide? I'm thinking of getting a 1911 in 10mm but want something that easily accepts Burris FastfireIII or a Leupold Delta red dot sight.

Have not mounted either sight on the 10mm. The rear sight is supposedly a bomar cut. Brother has a 10 mm SR1911. The machining of the slide appears to be a typical bomar cut. Going by looks not any measurements. Ruger also advertises the rear sight as bomar style. So I assume it matches up to the industry standards of a bomar cut. I believe Burris offers a mount for their red dot that fits a bomar cut.
