Plinking steel from 50 with my 1911 Cmd. .45 ACP

Had just finished setting up a 2nd range area which can give a nice 50 yd shooting distance right from my cabin picnic table. Was a long day but had to break it in with my Ruger 1911 which I happened to carry that day.
I think I shoot this thing better than any other handgun I have!

Still need to add more sand to the pile to finish it.
Note: The truck was in a safe spot further to the side than what appears in video due to camera wide angle lens.

Nice shooting, gotta love those Rugers. I recently picked up one of the SR1911s in 10mm and am really enjoying it.

I love a Commander-length .45. I have both the Rugers, an all-steel and an alloy frame. Very happy with both of mine so far.

Can't go wrong with an SR1911!

I have the lightweight commander SR1911 in 45. I love it, what a joy to shoot.
