Hello, sorry I know another person asked this question, but I wasnt able to find night sights with specific model number. Yesterday I was quite excited about receiving my night sights in the mail from Cheaper Then Dirt. As I took my rear sight off, and about to install the new night sights, I realized it DOESN'T FIT!! ha ha I was a lil upset. Called C.T.D., they were real friendly, and their comping the shipping. When I called to order the night sights, they let me speak to a "gun tech", which he assured me the kimber sized mepropoilitan sights will work. Well he was wrong, their slightly small. When I called to speak with the gun tech again, they told me the last gun tech I spoke with didn't know what he was talking about, so then the guy tells me the colt governors "size" will fit, I told him theres no way they would fit according to the pictures. See according to the pictures (C.T.D. night sight web page) my sight size resembles the s&w 1911 (ill include a link at the end for the sights that I think will work.) Just want to confirm with another ruger sr1911 owner, the exact night sight model number before I order again. Thanks!
