I've searched thru the forums and can't find discussions on this. Maybe I'm using the search function incorrectly.

I'm entertaining installing some night sights and there are so many variations on 1911 night sites that I'm unsure as to what "variation" to purchase. I've looked on Rugers website and they don't offer any night sights for the SR1911.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would think that any Novak cut sights would work.

The front might be tricky as you need to find one in which the rear portion of the blade is even with the rear of the dovetail. Lots of fronts have the rear portion overhang the dovetail at which point you would probably need a flat milled.

Here's a link to what I'm talking about........
