Anyone have the Ruger Holster for 1911?

Looks good, but pretty high dollar even with the full $20 discount. Just seeing if anyone has bought one and what they thought?

I wouldn't buy that for a carry holster. If that's what you were intending. It's meant for ipsc and idpa competitions. No retention strap and very minimal coverage.

Should have specified, yeah not for carry. Range and local match USPSA use.

I buy Ruger products whenever I can, but have found Ruger leather to be much more expensive compared to similar products. JMHO.

I think your right, overall accessories are pretty high there, but holsters especially seem over priced. It mentioned being kind of hybrid with leather covering, would be easier to find in my pile of Bladetechs when heading to the range though
