Got some new blue Box Elder burl grips for my SR1911 Cmdr from Lonestar Custom Grips ( http://www.lonestarcustomgrips.com/ ) & thought I'd show them off here.

Get blue nitride coating on the controls and polish the sides, that would be wicked.

They look darn good to me, but modrifle3 does have point, that would be a killer look.

Why not inlay some little diamonds and pearls too ... and carve some red roses into them as well ? :D

Sorry OP this is a tough crowd but I like um. Check out the examples Turn Bull has with this finish.
