Can we post a link to our ad on ArmsList?

Not in the Classifieds. But you can post in Auction Links, Recurring Items & Other Deals.

I think #3 should be a hard & fast rule. Considering there are no fees involved in selling on RugerForum, I don't think it's a lot to ask. Lots of sellers are either editing or completely deleting their post once it's sold. Add "SOLD" or "SPF" to the title but leave the ad with the asking price intact.

How do I edit the original title of my classified add to reflect a price drop or if it is sold? I can bump the add and add copy to that bump but I cannot figure out how to address the original title itself.

Go to your original post and click the "Edit" button. When edited click "Submit".

I have a bunch of little stuff that is military and gun related. can I just post one thread with a bunch of little things in my 1st line, and just monitor it as people buy the things off?
I can mark the sold things sold.
when my 1st post becomes unable to be edited, I can just move in down to the last post.
instead of posting 100 pics, I will only post a pic if someone asks, or just send it to them in a email.
im cleaning out all my closets of stuff. no guns.

Read thru everything I can, but can't find if there is a requirement for a "newbie" to have X # of posts or be registered "Y" days prior to being allowed to list in classifieds ...

Anyone clue me??? I Like the rest of the rules, especially the request to leave it but mark sold. I can't tell how many times on other sites, I may have had my heart flutter seeing a title that flipped my trigger and then open it to see it sold but never marked ...

Not every site allows editing title, but it's nice to see one can here!

Thanks for any update on rules regarding "time in grade" before allowing to post!

Posting a "PM sent" note will alert the thread poster to check his PMs that he has someone with interest in his offering but has a question about it or whatever. Better than cluttering up the thread with the questions, etc.

Is there anyway to post pictures to a classifieds without using Photobucket? When I went to their site it looks like you have to pay a fee to utilize them.

1.) Go to https://postimages.org

2.) Choose the picture from your files and upload

3.) After the upload completes, click ‘direct link’ from the selection of links

4.) Copy the image URL in between the ‘Img’ brackets to display the image in your forum post

Is there any where on this site to post disputes with seller's who fail to deliver. Can this just be put in the classified section. Someone on here claims to have sent an item but cannot/willnot produce a Tracking no. Would like some guidance before posting the name etc in the classified section

5) Sell and buy at your own risk... We suggest strongly that if you do sell anything of value or transact a firearm that you contact the person directly before you proceed.

Seems to answer the question. May I suggest... Road trip!

How do you post pictures to the site of your items? I have been out of touch for a while and I cant use my photo bucket to do this anymore.

Go to a different photo host. I use Imgur.com

I fight my way thru Pbucket from time to time and copy some of my old pics to a folder on my computer. Dead nuts easy to upload them from that folder to Imgur. Copying them from Imgur and pasting them on ANY forum is so easy you probably won't need any instructions but, if you do, just ask when you're ready.
