this is a roughed out set of Black Walnut crotch. made for a customer but they ended up a little thinner than his desired specs. rather than finish them out I thought i'd see if anyone wanted a little winter project. all that needs to be done is sand them out from say 100 grit to 400 grit and apply your finish of choice. i'll add the escutcheons and make a blued screw for them before shipping. grips were fit to a blued steel XRN-3RED grip frame, they should have some really nice grain once finished.
as they sit the grips measure around .440 at the butt, .410 at the grip screw hole and .368 where the medallion would go.
