This is a super nice BKH45X convertible .45 Colt and .45 ACP Blackhawk with the 7.5" barrel. I just stumbled onto these pics that I took back in May when someone was interested in finding a nice shooter convertible. He ended buying a different gun and I forgot all about this one. The only thing holding this fine revolver back from being a collector grade gun is that the front sight has been modified with an orange insert, and the rear blade has been replaced with a later white outline blade. If you are used to the sights on an old N frame S&W, you'll feel right at home with this Blackhawk. Some very light wear, minor turn line. Serial number dates to 1971 manufacture and the fact that it wears the OM "squashed chicken" medallion grips narrows that to the second half of the year.
