Mechanical snag when cocking has been fixed
This is one of the first 1000 old model Super Blackhawks to have the GCA68 serial number prefix. High gloss blue .44 Mag with 7.5" barrel, from 1969, and not converted. Overall, I guess I would call it 95% condition with some holster wear at the muzzle, a light turn line, and minor hammer discoloration. That in itself isn't enough to knock it down to 95%, but on the butt of the steel grip frame someone very lightly scribed the initials LB and some sort an identification number. Very lightly scratched, barely through the blue. There is also a minor mechanical issue [now corrected] timed to a couple chambers where it is more difficult than it should be to cock. It is right at the start of the cycle as you first try pulling the hammer back. Feels like there may be a burr somewhere. Once it "lets go", the rest of the cycle is easy and it locks up fine. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out, I just haven't had the time to look into it. Priced accordingly.
