Very, very rare set of grips here. Info and picture are from the Kopec book. Grips are in astounding original condition. They come with the original screw. These are first gen Gen grips. Serial number is for a first gen gun. But assembled after 1940. That's what a Prewar, Postwar gun is. Because of the rarity, condition and being one digit away from the ones noted in the book the price is $350 Shipped.

Somebody would've gotten fired at my job if we moved product that slow.

Pre World War II parts assembled 10-20 years later and shipped another 20 years after that?!

ryan, Which variety time period did the book identify these as?

Pre-War, Post War. The section is on the top left of the last pic.

Ryan,

It says Pre War: but there's four pre war varieties.

Two with eagles type I & II, and two w/o eagles type III & IV.

III = 1907 to 1925
IV = 1925 to 1940

With the 6 digit serial # on back, I'd say they're pre war Type IV, just below the last pre war #357859.

Pre war/Post war grips can be any grips in inventory, often 2nd gen post war grips (and boxes).

Yes. I thought the serial number being so late would of described the period. Honestly though, any first gen grips in that shape are crazy to find. If nobody wants to buy them, I'll fit them to a restored first gen I've done and they will float down the river like that.
