Only the discontinued original large frame Vaquero like this one is strong enough to handle the .44 Mag, so New Vaqueros are not made in this caliber. The short barreled stainless .44 Mag Vaquero was always hard to find. Originally a non-cataloged one-run item, it went into regular but limited production in the later years. Then a few Talo .44 Mags have been made on special order in recent years in 3.75" and 5.5" but I don't think the Talo was done this 4-5/8" barrel length. This one dates to 1998 production. Model KBNV-474. Condition is excellent with light signs of use such as a cylinder line and a few small scuffs. Has the manual and the number-matching box.

SPF (was $725) (was $700) (was $675) $650 shipped FFL to FFL

One of the best guns from the last couple decades. Too bad the numbers dont match my consecutive pair... but I reckon I'd never need a backup...
