This is a highly sought after Speed Six, made under contract for the U.S. Postal Service Inspectors in the 1987 time frame. These are model GS-33PS where the "PS" stood for Postal Service and have 3" barrels, a special matte stainless finish different from the standard brushed stainless, and factory Pachmayr grips with the Ruger medallions. The manuals were also unique. This is the factory reprint manual with the white paper cover (the original manuals had manila color covers). I don't know for certain but feel that some of the guns were shipped with the reprint manual, possibly as late-shipped overruns, but I do not know the ship date for this one. Excellent used condition with signs of firing but no indication of high pressure recoil, so it likely only saw .38s down the tube. Nice shiny bore with sharp rifling, tight lockup. The finish has started to turn a bit speckled as can be seen. The box has no end label and the serial number is written in wide black marker on the box lid. Ruger did that on some of their government contract guns, possibly as a requirement by the agency.

SPF $750 shipped FFL to FFL
