Selling No. 1 barrel from early 1B in 270 Win. This barrel was removed from SN 130-057xx which was produced in 1974 as a 1B i.e. 26" length with quarter rib & no sights.
This is the barrel only w/o the quarter rib. The bore is bright and in excellent condition as is the rifling with no wear at the throat observable to the naked eye.
The original bluing is very good and dark. However, there are several areas where bluing is missing or scuffed but could be touched up with the correct bluing repair system if desired. There is easily over 95% of the total original bluing present. The two largest spots are near the chamber end but will mostly be covered by the forearm wood. It is very hard to get a representative picture as the photo definitely exaggerates the feature. You can see the discolored area in the close up of the 270 Win stamping.
Priced to sell for someone wanting to assemble a budget driven No. 1 in one of the most popular game cartridges of all time. Looking to get $70 including shipping. ($72.50 if buyer chooses to use paypal) If you need additional pictures I will take and send what you need.
