This nice NM Super Blackhawk shooter is a first year (1973) revolver when Ruger was using up old model parts such as the recessed cylinders with the firing pin grooves and the late old model grips with the bright medallions and blue screw. Model S47N, blue .44 Mag with 7.5" barrel. These early New Models were polished to a mirror-like glossy finish. There are a few scuffs and scratches on the gun as seen, including a cylinder line and minor hammer discoloration. The grip frame has a bit more wear with some pitting on the backstrap and trigger guard.
