<SOLD> USFA Double Eagle, 45 Colt, blued, Turnbull CCH

FS: United States Fire Arms (USFA) Double Eagle, blued/cch, in 45 Colt. This is a birdshead, 3" barrel single action revolver with the bluing and color case hardening by Turnbull. Gun has been shot, but doesn't appear to be very much at all. bore is great, timing is good, lock up is tight. There aren't any real handling marks on the gun, other than a slight cylinder drag line. I have this gun for a few years and have not shot it since owning it. No box or papers.

That is a whale of a deal on one of the hardest to find and rarest USFA guns. If I did not have its twin in the safe I would jump all over this one.

Not exactly. Standard Manufacturing, a part of Connecticut Shotgun, bought all the tooling and machinery from USFA and word is that Doug Donnelly helped them get setup. They debuted their new SAA at SHOT Show this year. It will be interesting to see how these turn out.
