The more rare model is the one with octagon barrel and Ballard cut rifling in 41 Mag they made a very short run of years ago. That one has microgroove barrel which worked good with 175gr Winchester Silvertip, but heavy cast bullets not so much. I gave up one of these foolishly when I quit shooting 41 mag.

I have one of these also, only put about 20 rounds through it and it is a 20" barrel, i think the more rarer of the marlin 41's is the stainless 1894fg LTD....it had a 18" ballard cut barrel.

good luck with your sale sir.

The rarest is the short barrel stainless version like posted, then the straight gripped octagon barrel guns then the one for sale here. Regardless, NONE of them are common and this is still a great deal in my book.
