So, I walked in to get ammunition (again), but this time I left with only ammo (barely). LOL They had a stainless/wood Mini that was in very nice shape for $570. The shop owner knows I've been looking for a decent priced Mini. Starting to wish I would've had him hold it for me, which he would since I do a lot of business with them. My excuse that's getting me by for know is that I want a blued/wood Mini instead of the stainless.

How much harder is the stainless/wood to come by versus the blued/wood, out of curiosity?

I think the stainless and wood ones were pretty common in the older models... it's the newer ones that are mostly composite stocks...

but then if you want or need some wood, I might could help... here is my mini collection: (all stocks were bought after the rifles)

I have a synthetic and stainless, and wish I could have found a wood with stainless.

Is it walnut and stainless or laminate and stainless? I have a laminate and stainless All Weather that I like. A walnut and stainless would be harder to find than a blued and walnut.

In the picture of the collection of mini 14s, what brand and kind of stock are the ones that have the stainless wire folding? And how do you like them? They look really good on a mini 14.
