I am sure this question has been asked before but could not find one scrolling back a couple of years. Anyway would appreciate comments and recommendations for a red scope for a Mini-30. My shooting will be under 300 yards and probably under a 100 yards for the most part.

Thanks,
Charlie

Aimpoint Pro or T1, Trijicon MRO, leupold freedom are all good red dot sights.

Vortex sparc 2 is supposed to be good, except I'm on an anti-China role.

For shooting out to 300, you might want to consider a low power variable optic such as a vortex 1-8 strike Eagle (still anti-China)

I use Vortex Strikefire II and Burris AR 132 on the short range 9mm carbine and PDW. Sig-Sauer and Holosun make a some of good dot sights. Primary Arms sells PA branded Holosun built units.
I prefer the Burris AR 332. It has an actual etched aiming point that can be illuminated if desired plus a 3X magnification. This one can be used even if the battery dies and offers increased aiming precision at longer ranges.

Bushnell TRS25 is a good, inexpensive red dot. Get the one without the riser. The problem is you will need a rail to mount it on which raises it/any red dot too high IMO.
