1987 185 series Mini 14

Aloha all. I am looking for a specific part. I am looking for a bolt lock assembly with buffer spring. I cannot seem to locate one. I see parts that fit the ranch rifle but not 185 series mini 14. Numrich is out of stock. Any ideas where I could locate one?

I will try Ruger tomorrow but I am not confident that they have one on stock.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also any ideas to repurpose another part to suit my needs.

Have you tried Accuracy Systems? I've found them having some parts when Ruger, Numrich were out.

Well I did reach out to Accuracy Systems. No joy! I finally called Ruger directly. I gave them the rule serial number and they referenced the part via the serial number. I was told that they had the part. The original part is discontinued. The replacement part they listed was the stainless steel part. I was assured that this is the correct part. I received the part today and low and behold, not the same part. The ejector was too long. I had to do some measuring and grinding magic to make it work. The final result is the part is now modified and works flawlessly.
