Picked up a Hawkeye Tactical yesterday. Chambered in .223 Remington. This one has the flash suppressor. Black Hogue Overmold stock. The one thing I can't figure out is that the metal finish is OD Green. I have a feeling that it has been Cerakoted aftermarket. Although, whoever did it did an excellent job. Which leads me to wonder if there was ever a distributor special that had a black stock and ODG finish.
Maybe someone more versed in these rifles can fill me in. I'd almost put money on it being done after it left the factory though.
