FOR SAFETY REASONS DO NOT FOLLOW LOADS POSTED IN THIS THREAD - When your load testing bears sub MOA fruit at 600yds with a new rifle. Ruger American Predator, 18" barrel, .308. Changing ONE grain of the load actually made a positive difference. (first shot left was the fouling shot)

Note: load is "43.4", not "43". My bad. :(

If this is at 600 like you've been shooting, that's not bad

Thinking that working up a best load @ a hundred & then take it to 600 is doable. Could be wrong, but easier to to test just the load without factoring in so many other variables.

And.... if you care to try other load options............... Varget has been Extremely popular in the 308 for some time now.

Tried some of the bulk 155's from Midsouth Shooters Supply (turns out they're Noslers)

Surprised how well they shot at 600 with the Predator.

There are so many to choose from. I googled "rifle muzzle brake" & was shown 100's of images. Brownells offers nearly a hundred styles. But another good place to look.

Then I went to Ebay & typed same. First page produced an "all steel .308 tanker style competition brake"
Pretty sure this is it, you decide. Sorry, I couldn't get it moved over here.
