I just bought a New Ruger American Go Wild in 6.5 creedmoor. I took my first shot with Winchester white box and the casing would not extract. I had to push it out with a nylon rod. I inspected the casing and found marking at 2 o'clock on side of casing. I decided to try some of my hornaday precision hunter 143gr ELLD same result. Put it away and spent the morning shooting the M77. Got home and removed bolt for a better inspection with borescope and found the barrel looked as to have been dropped at 2"o'clock and got chipped. I got a picture of it but can't figure out how to download it. Anyone else have this problem?? Or seen it?? Rifles getting shipped back tomorrow

Sorry to hear about your troubles. With the two different types of factory ammo giving the same marks, little choice but to send it back. Yes, I realize reloads wouldn't matter much with this issue.

Ruger is known for good customer service. Hopefully now your gun will get special attention.
