When Ruger's fledgling custom shop really gets going perhaps they will build any one-off obscure caliber in any configuration you desire. Expect to pay dearly for it.

The only thing I see for 2019 so far is a Stainless 1S in 45-70.

Lipseys shows the K1S 45-70 as a mid-2018 release, but maybe none produced in 2018?

I find a stainless 45-70 very tempting but a 300 PRC would be the thing.

How about build your own. All the same barrel contour you specify caliber. You order then they ream the caliber stick it on a pre assembled receiver/stock box it up and ship it to you via Lipsey's. This would be a great product for the Custom Shop.

The above suggestion makes a lot of sense for the No1. At most two barrels say a hunting and a target, stainless or blued (taped for a scope-a picatany rail would be too ugly), composite or walnut stock. Offering a threaded barrel option might make sense as well. This would make the No1 a viable long term rifle architecture. That would result in 4 barrels (either could be threaded) two receivers, and two stocks (maybe add a PRC stock?). Do any rifle would have 8 variants plus the chosen caliber. (A blued receiver with a stainless barrel would not make sense!)
