Ruger 96/44

This is one levergun carbine I'd love to find at a good deal .... I'd like to see Ruger roll out the 96/44 once again .. Id like to see a stainless version..

I called mine a 10/22 on steroids...should have never let it go.

I, too, wish they would bring it back. I also wish they would still make the .44 Carbine, both the older and newer version, as well as Old Model Blackhawks! But, alas, I fear it will never happen. If they would have sold enough of them, they would still be in the line up. No company can stay in business long making guns not enough folks are buying.

I had both the 96/44 and the 99/44. I preferred the 96. Probably should not have sold it.

I'd be satisfied with a blued carbon steel 96/44 WITH A REAL WALNUT STOCK ! !
