M77 chambered in 220 Swift with Varmint Barrel

Did they come factory tapped on the barrel for a scope block of sorts?

Hmm - My 1995 KM77VT in .22-250 did not come with barrel drilled and tapped. It came with the barrel having machined upsets front and back of the bolt opening, onto which fitted Ruger factory scope rings.

Was their something special about the .220 Swift?

I believe those dedicated Ruger scope ring mounting points were on the receiver, not the barrel.

Roger that. On receiver, not barrel. My bad. Thx, Coop
