I got mine in 300 win mag. I wanted a little more oomph than the 30-06. I also ended up replacing the factory stock with a Hogue. A great all weather, all purpose rifle.

I gotta tell you folk, this thing has caused me to really thin the herd. The more I tote her, the better she gets.

I keep the screws torqued just right, I use a 4x Leupold, Nylon Mountain sling attached to the barrel band, and the muzzle brake always on so I can keep her muzzle down into the floor mat.

The heft and balance makes it one of the best offhand shooters I've ever had.

What a gal!

I drew my bear tag for Minnesota this year, so come the 2nd week of September I will be using mine for black bear. I have some 210 grain Nosler Partitions loaded as well as all 3 factory loads available for the 338 RCM.

Heres a new comment I heard on the Guide Gun, "that thing is so heavy, it needs wheels".

I guess it just ain't for everybody but if its for "you", you'll likely have no other.

Some fellas get too much soy and hormones from milk?
