I could kick myself in the ass, I had No. 3s in .223 and .22 Hornet years ago, sad to say they did not shot good and I sold them...wish I had kept them anyway...hindsight is 20-20.

Looks like 132-42853 is currently listed on GunBroker as NIB...
Unless I missed something - I don't see this number on the list...

Do you still think 200 No.3's produced is an accurate or approximate number? I've just bought my new No.1 in 44 Rem Mag and am revisiting this topic with renewed interest.

I stumbled across 132-42160 when I went to look at a No. 1. It appears to me to be in excellent condition. I ended up taking it just to get a little better deal on the No.1. Even though it appears to be a rare caliber I am not that fond of No. 3s in general so it is unlikely to stay in my collection very long.

I just received Ruger letter for 132-55069. It was produced in September 1982. Please correct the date in your list.

Manufactured in 1985 according to Ruger.com...I purchased ANIB in 1986....I have never fired it....just fondled it on occasion.

IF Ruger only made 200 total, they sure spread them out!!

Try punching in the serial number on Ruger's website for this one. It comes back as Ruger model 9355, a barreled action #3 in .44 Mag.
