Many people bought the Taurus PT111 Gen 2 Millenium when it came out because of the price point. Taurus never made any announcement but the PT111 has been replaced by the Taurus 2Gc, no big deal, few differences but it appears to be a nice gun. Hard to beat for the price.

Also on the Semi-Auto forum, I posted a Taurus 2Gc vs a Ruger Security Nine comparison if anyone is interested. Both nice guns. Depending on your size which might be best for you.

That was a good short video. He got right to the point and didn't waste any time.

I have 3 of the G2 Millenniums, but mine have matt slides unlike the example in the video. For a plastic semi auto, this feels absolutely perfect in my hand, much better than the Sig P365. All 3 have been flawless in their reliability. I like them, a lot! It's an absolutely perfect truck gun, and 12+1 to boot!

The only issue I have with them is not necessarily the gun itself but with the trigger safety for me. I get a hitch sometimes in the trigger pull, but it's because I have arthritis in my hands and my trigger finger joint is crooked. Still, I don't have that issue with my G19.

I'd buy the newer G2c in a heartbeat!

Bass Pro/Cabella's has these on sale right now for $179.97 after a $25 rebate. Seriously, you can't beat this! :)

Not sure how someone can pass up on that. People are carrying a lot less gun for more money than the Taurus with 12 + 1, capacity.
