I accompanied The Grouch Attack to an outdoors show last weekend(she had a vendor's booth there). One of the seminars was on the subject of CCW and was presented by the county Sheriff(not my home county). I'd been in his office about 3 weeks back informing him I was working in his county-kind of a professional courtesy thing and to prevent deputies being called out for suspicious activity on my account. We had a little chat before the seminar started and during the prsentation he was asked a question about the endorsement on the state ID and I offered mine for example. After the seminar a young man approached and asked several questions about CCW in this state(he had recently moved to MO). He also asked if I carried often. When I told him I was at the time he was quite surprised and asked "where is it?".
I was wearing my new SuperTuck with the SP101 under a common twill long tail button front shirt. I've always had to wear a size larger shirt to allow shoulder room so the waist is normally blousey and it seems to work perfectly.
I normally wouldn't make an example of myself but this was quite a distance from home in a place I seldom go AND I don't get too worked up like some of the "always concealed" crowd. This is an open carry state and I do that on occasion, also.

The only person who has ever "made me", is my three year old. ED

Gotten into the habit of dropping my right arm to my side and hugging with my left arm when in that position. Little ones can be a challege ; ).

Just last weekend my wife busted me. She knows I carry all the time, but I'm so discreet that its really out of mind for her, at the local sam's club she reached out and put her hand on my back right hip to get my attention, I heard a little oh out of her and then a small smile as she realized what she had done, we continue on our way no one the wiser. I've never been made that I'm aware of.

I carry a SR1911 every day around KC. I had a friend ask me if I was carrying and would I ride to the bank drivethrough with her while she made a large deposit. I got in the car and she said, "Don't forget to bring your gun" I told her it is here and she said "oh you have one of those little pocket pistols" I pulled out the 1911 aand her jaw dropped open and she said, "I did not know it was possible to hide a gun that big It did not show at all on you."

I believe most of the men that conceal carry could be made when they park a car and get out just by watching what we do when exiting the vehicle.

Yup, you made me! Can't seem to keep my left hand from making sure my shirt is pulled down.

I have noticed the clips from supertuck style IWB holsters on people carrying. Only downside to those holsters that I can see.
