If you purchase a Single Six, new or used, in stainless steel with both cylinders it will outlast your Grand Kids Kids. Seems expensive now, but it will be 'cheap' 60 years down the road. My Father purchased an M1 carbine in '64 for $20. It was a truck gun. We didn't hurt it too bad, even during our learning curve with reloading. It's still here, runs like a champ.
If you can, read "The Specialist"* by Chic Sale. I hope your thoughts will be "buy the best quality plus a bit more than you think you can afford" and you will have the rest of your life to think back and say "I did good." Not to mention what you will pass on.
And do it while you can.
