Grandkids are prepping for deer season

They showed up last evening to practice and do some bullet testing. Afterward they came in for some chit chat and to report their prowess. Not too bad for the first practice of the fall and sounds like they're coming back today. I thought I'd better "check my zero" in case they asked me to shoot some so I went down to the range and popped off a mag. At the range they were shooting yesterday, I can hold my own using my 22/45 vs them using 10/22's.
There's no way you can't feel good about shooting a pistol like that.

It just reminds them there's always room for improvement. We don't want to discourage them, just raise their goals.

If done right,, they look up to you and learn from you. It's HOW you raise them!
