This is the first new model in years, chambered for the .17 Mach II - good on Whittaker and Ruger for making these available (if only for a limited run).

Picked mine up this morning, and the serial number ends in '17'... Brilliant! :D

Ready for the range next week.

Was just at the range with it again this morning... shooting up the last few rounds of my old Remington ammo, and then a few magazines full of CCIs 17gr VNT load.

No issues, and very good accuracy. Not as much 'fun' as my 10/22 conversion in .17, but fun enough. :D

Weaver rings fit the factory base just fine, and most of my rim-fire rifles do quite well with the Weaver Quad-Lock rings.
