I am giving serious consideration of purchasing a new Precision Rifle by Ruger in .22lr. In reading the description I see that it comes with a scope base with a built in 20 MOA downward slope to it. I presume this is for long range use with the .22 lr allowing zero of scope.
My question: how much is this (rather extreme in my thoughts) built in adjustment going to impact my use of the rifle and scope zeroing at the 25 to 50 yards I will be using it at? I plan on a 2.5 Power compact scope and will be using it for bolt action practice and general use.
If there is much discussion of these rifles on this forum I have not been able to find it.
Thanks.
