I have a co-worker selling a single 6 convertible with 9 inch barrel blued with wood grips. sn 69-65xxx . No box or paperwork but does have the 22mag cylinder in a red pouch and white cardboard box. He inherited it from his dad so not sure about history. Looks to have not been shot much.

Tried running the serial number on the ruger site but came back n/a. Asking price is $325. What do you guys think?

Well the deal is done. Brought her home yesterday and cleaned it up. Magnum cylinder has the serial # engraved in it and looks to have never been shot.

Went out back and lined up some clays on the berm and shredded them at 25yards. This thing is a shooter. I thought the long barrel would be nose heavy but it balances nice.

Need to get some 22 mag rounds next and see how they do.

Thanks to all who answered my questions.

You'll be amazed at how well you can targets by shooting from the hip with it.

The long barrel is like sonar to help you know where it's pointing for point shooting without using the sights.
