I go that way. The MkII and similar grips have never been instinctive for me. The 22/45 grip isn't perfect, but it is superior in fit and design for me. All the "bar stock" barrels are top heavy, BTW, and look "unfinished", left in the round for manufacturing expediency above anything.

I'll buy the tapered barrels but own no bar stock tubes and only A54 frames, due to balance mainly.

Meanwhile I prefer the 22/45 grip, the best rimfire semiauto offered to date IMHO.
