ID this Mark?

This on a Ruger MKI512. Can anyone id this mark?

No I can't but it is interesting. Did the ad say if the frame and receiver were plated with something or just polished white steel?

Never mind; the picture tricked me. I see in the ad it's blue.

I just went through my old "Official Guide to Gunmarks" book, 1st edition,, w/o finding it.

Thanks Ty. I may have to buy it just to find out what it is.

Go with a new edition. I looked after not finding your proof mark. There is a 3rd Edition. it may have more info etc. I'm going to buy one soon, to update my library.

This gun looks to have been re-blued.

Yes not factory. Front sight resembles Clark. Just thought it was interesting pistol. But to many other irons in the fire.

It's not a proof mark, it's the gunsmith's I.D. stamp.

That's kind of what I thought. And tried searching for it that way. But no luck finding it. Any idea who?
