Ruger made a short run of MkII's with 4 inch bull barrels. Anyone know this model number? Value now -NIB?

If you don't count the Lipsey's versions, it's model 0139 catalog MK4B. However they made three different versions, one with black plastic grips, one with smooth thumb rest laminated wood grips and one with checkered thumb rest laminated wood grips. Which do you have?

What about the Lipseys? How do you know if it is Lipseys if you don't have the box? I have one with a gold trigger and assume it is Lipseys? Do all the Lipseys have thumb rest grips?

If you don't have the box then calling Ruger is the only way to tell if you have a Lipsey's model. Anyone can change parts around. AFAIK, the KMK4BL and MK4BL came originally with thick laminated wood grips without thumb rests. As I mentioned, two versions of the MK4B came with thumb rest grips as displayed in the GB auction cited above.
