I Have An Unusual Question About The Ruger American Rimfire

I have two of these little rifles. Will the bolts interchange? I've tried & the bolts go in with no problem & close just like each other. PLEASE reply DIRECTLY to me at: [email protected], because I don't check this form very often, thanks.

'Course, any failure or injury after switching bolts would not be Ruger's responsibility in any case.

I reason I think I can do it is, the bolts don't have matching serial numbers to the rifles. So how would Ruger know which bolt went to which rifle?

How would Ruger know you switched them???

? why do you want to switch them?
You know you can take the bolts apart and swap the parts if you there is something you want like a different style bolt handle.

That's what I'd like to change, the bolt handle, but I took a bolt from a Remington model 700 apart one time & I had a helluva time gettin it back together without that little tool from Sinclair. I'll utube it & see what they come up with.
