Anyone used an Apex Tactical trigger kit in a Ruger Mk IV? Thinking of installing one, the setup looks good, what ya think??

I'm not familiar with their product, so I did some quick looking.

Found it at Midway - https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020562922/apex-tactical-action-enhancement-kit-aluminum

For what it costs, consider spending a few bucks more and get this:

If you want a 3.5 pound trigger the Apex is great. If you want a target trigger about 2 - 2.5 pounds get the Volquartsen. Mine came out at 1 3/4 pounds.

The Volquartsen trigger also has adjustments for take-up (some call it pre-travel) and overtravel. Properly adjusted, there is almost zero trigger motion. The Apex claims to reduce overtravel, but does nothing for take-up.

Also, if the VQ trigger ends up being too light for your taste, you can leave the stock Ruger trigger return spring in place and end up with about a 3-1/2 pound trigger that will still have almost no travel and a crisp break.
